My Trader Joe’s Must-Haves

If you read my previous post, then you already know how I feel about Trader Joe’s. As a companion post I could have titled: “Things I love so much I didn’t have to plan it out because I had them all in my kitchen already.”

These are practical things, like if I were going to be stranded on a desert island and had to survive, this is what I would bring.

One of the most important things to know about me if you’ll be reading my blog with any regularity is that I love hummus. I’ll eat it with anything, including right from the tub with a spoon.

I could easily finish off a family size bag of pita chips with hummus in one sitting. These snack packs are great if you’re anything like me and terrible at moderation.

Plus, they use my favorite hummus, not only from TJ’s, but from anywhere, and the pita chips are tasty too.

Let me get this out of the way and say I’m not someone who loves vegetables. These green juices don’t taste incredible, but I like them because they make me feel like I’m being healthy. I envision the cells in my body smiling when I drink one.

I don’t cook. Okay, that’s a lie, but rarely do I cook. And why would I when Trader Joe does so with more care and attention than I ever could?

This butter chicken is delectable. It tastes like a spice circus in your mouth.

Mangoes are probably my favorite fruits. I don’t know how to cut or eat a fresh mango, so, once again, I let someone else do it. I find these to be a healthier alternative when I need a tangy fix.

These are a unique snack that can satisfy a sushi craving without me having to go all out at Mr. Tokyo. It’s also a similar crunchiness to something like potato chips, but with less added oil and salt.

A part II post about my favorite sweet treats could also easily be arranged. Perhaps closer to a visit from Aunt Flo.

Leave a comment if there’s something you think I should try! What are your must-haves from Trader Joe’s?
